Nephrotic Syndrome: How Can Steroid Be Stopped without the Occurrence of Relapse

Nephrotic Syndrome: How Can Steroid Be Stopped without the Occurrence of RelapseDoctor: Hello, welcome to consult us. What can I do for you?

Patient: My son is suffering from Nephrotic Syndrome. He is on steroid. How can it be stopped without the occurrence of relapse?

D: When was your son diagnosed with Nephrotic Syndrome?

P: He was 2 years old.

D: How old is he now?

P: Now he is 3.5 years.

D: Does the disease relapse during the last year?

P: Yes, it is very frequent.

D: To prevent relapse, the key is to find out an effective treatment. Steroid is used to inhibit the abnormal immune system rather than improve immune system. Once steroid is stopped, inflammation in kidneys flare up again. That is why his disease relapses frequently.

P: How to do with that? It is steroid dependent.

D: You should find out a way to improve immune system.

P: How can I do that?

D: In our hospital, systemic Chinese medicine has been used for many years for Nephrotic Syndrome patients. Clinical practice provided that it is really effective. After about one week’s treatment, swelling will disappear. After about half month’s treatment, proteinuria will decrease. After about one month’s treatment, his Nephrotic Syndrome will be under control. But he has to keep on treatment for a period of treatment to reinforce the effect. Because the immune system is adjusted and kidneys are repaired, his disease won’t relapse so easily. Besides, with treatment going on, he can stop steroids completely.

P: That is amazing. Does the disease go forever?

D: If his immune system can be improved, yes.

P: What types of food should I give?

D: This is based on his present condition. Do you have his medical test report?

P: yes.

D: I hope you can send the related test reports to my email box igacure@gmail.com. I can give you some advice after detailed analysis.

P: What reports you want to check?

D: Urine test, blood test, ultrasound test as well as ECT. The more the better.

P: OK, I will send to you.
