FSGS, 20% of Kidney Function: Is There Any Better Suggestions

Question: Hi, my girlfriend has recently been diagnosed with FSGS. She has 20% function of her kidneys and is on ramipril and diovan daily. Do you have any better suggestions? Thanks.

FSGS, 20% of Kidney Function: Is There Any Better SuggestionsAnswer: Ramipril is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). Lowering high blood pressure helps relieve proteinuria, prevent strokes, heart attacks, and further kidney damage. Diovan is also used for high blood pressure. Besides high blood pressure, does she have any other symptoms, such as proteinuria, swelling, anemia, etc? Those symptoms should be controlled well, too.

You said she has 20% renal function, which means she is in stage 4 FSGS, in which she may have to prepare for dialysis and kidney transplant. Now if she does not have any serious complications, she can take treatment to repair kidney damage and improve renal function. In Beijing Tongshantang Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, we often use Toxin-Removing Treatment, also known as Detoxification Therapy. It shows remarkable effect in treating kidney disease, including FSGS.

Toxin-Removing Treatment for FSGS patients to improve renal function

This is actually a systemic treatment, which is composed of 9 therapies, such as plasma exchange, oral Chinese medicine, external Chinese therapies, cytokine infusion therapy, etc. Those therapies can work together to dissolve immune complexes and remove them out of kidneys. They can also eliminate metabolic wastes and extra fluid from the blood to keep internal environment good. Moreover, they can restore the balance of anti-inflammatory cytokines and pro-inflammatory cytokines to reduce renal inflammation and control the disease from getting worse. Moreover, they can dilate blood vessels and remove stasis to improve blood circulation and increase blood flow into kidneys so that essential elements such as oxygen, nutrients and active ingredients of medicine can be transported into nidus to speed up kidney recovery.

After about one week’s treatment, swelling will fade away.

After about half month’s treatment, proteinuria will be reduced. Blood pressure will be stabilized.

After about one month’s treatment, her illness condition will get under control, and renal function will get improved.

FSGS patients with 20% renal function should receive treatment as early as possible to prevent further kidney damage. For more information on FSGS treatment, please leave a message below or contact online doctor.
